How to Transfer a call

Call Transfer is the most useful feature of any phone system.

Here are the steps to follow to do just that;

1. During a call, press key labelled ‘tran’ or ‘Transfer’ to put the caller on hold for a transfer.
2. Using the keypad, dial an extension number or phone number of the person that you wish to transfer the call to.
3. Talk to the person at the other extension/number to tell them they have a call.
  (a). If they can take the call then press key labelled ‘tran’ or ‘Transfer’ to complete the transfer.
  (b). If they cannot take the call, wait for them to hang up and then press the flashing line key again to take the call back.
