How to make a 3-way call

Here are instructions to add a third party to a live call.  The instructions below are for users with a Speechpath Yealink phone;

1. During a call, press key labelled ‘conf’ or ‘Conference’ to put first caller on hold and
enable you to call another person.
2. Dial an extension number or phone number using the keypad.  This will be the number of the additional callee.
3. Talk to the person at the other extension/phone number to tell them you are about to join the three of you together into a conference.
  (a). If they can take the call then press key labelled ‘conf’ or ‘Conference’ to join the persons on both lines into the same call with you.
  (b). If they cannot take the call then end the new call and press the flashing line key again to take the original call back.
